Guangzhou's high temperature alert has been issued for 25 days this July, ranking it the first time in history. The weather was so hot?that?most?locals?have needed to stay in air-conditioned places day and night. But the good news is that, starting from Sunday (August 2nd), it’s going to cool down a little. However, rainstorms and strong gales will hit Guangzhou with concentrated rainfall in southeast areas. In addition, from August 1 to 5, continuous heavy precipitation will batter Meizhou, southern Heyuan, and other cities in eastern and western Guangdong and the southern Pearl River Delta.
